Guess who bought a computer yesterday!

It was me.

And this is what I've been up to.

So rather than try and literally update you all on e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g I've done in the past 2 months, I decided to make a short little video that hits the highlights. Hope you loved it <3

More regular updates to come! I can't wait to talk about how much I love my new Kindy job with the younger kids. I can't wait to show my apartment. I can't wait to talk about the Tim Burton exhibit. But at least now after this post, we're all caught up :)

I'm still alive

For those that haven't heard, I lost my phone 3 weeks ago and then my computer decided it would be a good time to die the next morning. This is why I haven't posted any of my adventures recently.

(3 weeks ago) Yayyyyy loving my life. Korea is so much fun. What a great time.

I go out one Friday night.

& party too hard.

 I get home and realize I have no phone.

I wake up the next day really angry & judge myself.

I decide to skype my parents for advice.

Then I notice as I'm skyping them that my computer is slowly dying and even though it's plugged in, it's not charging.

I watch my computer slowly die then sit in darkness, mourning my computer and phone, remembering what my life used to be.

At 6 PM I go to the last bar I was at the night before to look for my phone.

It is not there.

I am super depressed but days later I eventually come to terms with the fact that my phone is gone.

At least I still have my kindle and can watch movies.

Then last Friday I got my first paycheck.

 

And headed straight to SK to get a Korean phone.

So now I can be like this again.

Hope you enjoyed my story of sadness. Although it seems like its a happy ending, I miss my American phone because it didn't deserve my neglect. It was such a good phone. And this was super hard to write because I feel like I'm reliving my nightmare.

To everyone that has been patient with my updates, I thank you. Everyone rushing me to get a computer, I feel like I need to help you understand something. Living in another country makes every problem a million times more complicated and right now I have many other things that I need to take care of first. Like figuring out how to get my Korean bank account linked to my American one. Or figuring out how to read my Korean bank's website. Or translating my Korean phone contract so I can feel less like I just signed my life away. Or booking my trip to Hong Kong (EEEEEEEEE!!!!!). So you understand and can see that dealing with my computer is not at the top of my list of priorities right now.









You guys are the best!!! Keep being patient with me. I promise amazing updates are on their way!
