A fun day with Kevin :)

I had such a fun day with Kevin that I just had to post some pictures! It's days like today that really make me so thankful and so grateful to be living the life that I have.

We headed out in the late afternoon and went to Myeongdong. This is a district of Seoul that is notorious for shopping but we went with another purpose. Dr. Fish. We had intended on doing this last weekend but were distracted by the Myeongdong shopping and ended up not having enough time. I'm so glad that we waited!

It turns out that the Myeongdong location won't let you just do the fish pedicure so we had to order a "treatment" to go along with it. I loved the experience but Kevin was iffy about it lol. He does not like to be pampered. We ordered a W29,000 treatment that came with the fish pedicure. IT WAS AMAZING! I would really like to go back and do the couple massage for our anniversary coming up.

Here are some pictures from what a fish pedicure experience is like. It was super hard to keep our cool because it felt like we were being electrocuted but the lady in charge said "Quiet. People sleeping!" before we put our feet in so we really had to keep it together. The struggle to keep our composure was REAL lol.

LOVED the decor of this place. I'm really interested in bringing my mom and sister to do this when they come in 45 DAYS!!!!!!!

WEIRDEST FEELING IN THE WORLD!!!!!!
Kevin was such a champ lmao. He did not like the feeling at all and watching him struggle to stay quiet was hilarious for me hahahahahahaaaaa

Nibble nibble!
They looked like the little fish you see in shallow ocean water. I told Kevin they were domesticated minos.

After finishing our fish pedicures and massages we decided to head over to the Global Village Festival in Itaewon. I love Itaewon. I think it's my favorite place in Seoul. It's a huge foreigner neighborhood with tons of great food and shopping. We had gone out the night before in Itaewon and decided the festival that was going on was worth coming back to.

It was a lot of fun. Countless tents of restaurants advertising their country's cuisine as well as performances and people selling clothing and little trinkets from countries all over the world. I ended up buying some of the best red wine I've ever had from Argentina's tent as well as the best sangria I've ever had from Spain's tent. Kevin got a rum drink from Cuba's tent and a Kebab wrap from one of the Moroccan tents. It was such a great night and really one of the nights that really made me grateful for the life we have right now at the age that we are.

View of the street that the festival was on.

Woop woop! Lobster at the American tent

Yummy! At only W3,000 a cup I bought 3! There's really no way it was worth that little. It was so delicious!

Still writing my post full of pictures from my vacation to Tokyo but this day was too good to not post! Hope you enjoyed it! <3 <3 <3
