I literally get to spend my days with the cutest kids in the world and so I wanted to write a miscellaneous post with some of the pictures and videos I've taken recently of the adorable things that go on at work.
This is Ethan. He's my newest. We are bros. He is perfect.
He hates coloring.
My coteacher and I joke that our babies are like baby birds when they do this. Our classroom is right next to the front desk and they always lean outside and open the door to yell "KELLY TEACHER!" and wave enthusiastically. They just want her/anyone to notice and love them. (They really do remind me of birds when there's 2 or more of them doing this at the same time.)
Birthdays are a huge deal in Kindy/my school/maybe all of Korea. The parents bring in these elaborate cakes, as well as other snacks, the students bring presents, and there are lots and lots of pictures. Sally came in dressed as a princess for her birthday party (not that she dresses any different any other day of the week <3).

The day of the birthday party was also the day of our Song Contest, that should actually be renamed to song performance because there is no winner. This would have been helpful to know prior to talking crap with some of the teachers in the other classes when I was expressing that Donkey class would be dominating. With the exception of one adorable melt down, I stand by my statement that Donkey class definitely won the Song Contest, regardless of it not being a contest.
*Side note: I'm trying to upload a video of Ethan's melt down and its so cute but I've tried like 20 times and its not working. I'm taking it as a sign that when Ethan grows up and finds this blog in 10 years, after he has a random English moment and misses me and tries to search the internet for information on how he can find me so we may be reunited, he is devastated by his behavior at the song contest and it stands in the way of our renunion. It's ok 15 year old Ethan. We forgive you.

After a long day of cuteness overload with the song contest + the sugar crash from all of the cake I ate, I was tired/experimenting with Teacher of the Day positions in one of my classes. I also forgot to take off my Kindy indoor shoes and leave them downstairs. This is a picture of me and Tony Teacher, in no mood for any nonsense.
Second cute day worth mentioning: The Children's Day celebration. A day to celebrate the children of Korea, as if they don't receive enough love every day of their existence, but this really was an adorable day and the kids were all so happy. Me and Mimi were in charge of face painting. I was jealous and painted this masterpiece before the paints were put away.

Precious moment #239428 of Children's Day. The Magic Show put on by one of my bosses. My babies were super into it.
They all got umbrellas as a Children's Day gift. They had lots to carry because they also made huge, full size cakes during cooking class that day. At the end of the day, they put their indoor shoes in their cubbies and carry their outdoor shoes to the hall and don't put them on until they head out to their buses. So we had to smush their umbrellas in between their little nugget bodies and their backpacks so they could carry their cake and shoes. They looked so adorable I had to take their picture. <3
Omg I love my job. They're so cute. I love them <3 AHHHHHHHHH!!!
Also, on a random note, sometimes when I'm walking to work, I pass by what I assume is a PE class at one of the schools in my neighborhood. On this day they were doing some exercise all in unison and I thought it was cute how some of them were into it and some of them were over it. I love Korea!
